Came across this Tamil commercial for Cadburys Eclairs, dramatizing the burst of chocolate in the mouth.
The two devices – a lit cracker and the chocolate explosion – work well, the former building intrigue and the latter being a literal take on the chocolate explosion. A huge departure from the earlier juvenile ‘very useful‘ ad though. But isn’t eclairs a chewy, done-in-a-minute product form? Doesn’t this build huge expectations on the product experience?
